Meet Ifrah Ali Mohamed, or Fifi as I call her. A dynamic force of leadership, logistics, and community engagement from Djibouti.
I met Ifrah in 2024 during the Young African Leadership Initiative program in Nairobi, and she quickly became a standout voice for quiet confidence, professional clarity, and cross-cultural impact.
What makes Ifrah unique isn’t just her ability to speak seven languages (yes—seven!), or her impressive logistics and operations experience; it’s how she channels these talents into meaningful impact in her community and beyond.

With a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a wealth of certifications—from entrepreneurship and leadership to communication, her education reflects her lifelong commitment to growth. At the moment she serves as Operations Manager at Four Star FZCO, where she leads teams and oversees logistics, a role she earned through demonstrated excellence as Assistant Operations Manager prior. Basically, she's the s@#t when it comes to the execution of international business management operations.
She’s also deeply involved in community development. As a volunteer for the American Spaces program under the US Embassy in Djibouti, she managed content and organised civic-oriented events that facilitated cross-cultural understanding and youth engagement.

Beyond her professional contributions, Ifrah is a quiet powerhouse with a deep commitment to women’s empowerment and economic inclusion. She participates in initiatives like the Réseau des Femmes Bâtisseuses de l’Afrique de Demain, supporting African Francophone women entrepreneurs.
Her story is one that embodies YALI’s core values: transformative leadership, inclusivity, professionalism, innovation, and sustainability, proving that true leadership is built on service, vision, and the courage to break barriers and execute.
