The Clown: Comic Book Review

Updated: Nov 26

A man making a living off of making people laugh regards his job with so much contempt that he almost ruins his chance with the goddess Serendipity. He expects the supernatural serendipity to grant him special superpowers when she calls him to save the people of the town who had been deprived of joy and laughter for some time. He is so disappointed to discover that he already has all the superpowers he needs: His ability to lift people's spirits. While this is not what he had expected of a supernatural figure, he is challenged to do this and in his favor, his jester abilities would become more potent, the more he gets the people to laugh.

Ultimately, he is required to go head to head with his predecessor, Killjoy, a vision of his future, and a product of his residing gloom despite the jest. Does he come out victorious? And what methods does he use seeing that his predecessor already immersed so much power? So much power that Serendipity lost control of him.
